All dietary requirements can be catered for on request. Weather permitting our courtyard tables will also be able available.

Once a month you get to experience Sid at The French Café like never before. Each month our chefs will dive into a new cuisine and create epic street eats that they would love to eat themselves.

One night only, 5 different street eats for $85 per person, includes a welcome drink.

The Gaggenau Tuesday Test Kitchen is a monthly Test kitchen series offering innovative off menu dishes designed and delivered by chef Sid Sahrawat and his team. Our restaurant’s collaboration with the luxury German kitchen appliance brand Gaggenau continues.

Private dining options

At Sid at The French Cafe we have two private dining areas available to guests. The French Kitchen is ideal for large groups of upto 32 guests and Our Cellar that seats upto 12 guests. The restaurant and all its spaces can be booked for sole use as well for events such as weddings and other private events.

The French Kitchen

This is our unique private dining space with an open kitchen, where our chef can cook for an intimate dining experience for 12-32 guests. This is the ultimate chef’s table experience using the freshest of ingredients from our flourishing edible garden in our beautiful courtyard.

THE CELLAR

Our Cellar is an intimate private dining space that feels warm and personable. Separate to the main restaurant, it is a bespoke room crafted to showcase our selection of wines. It is perfect for hosting special occasions, both personal and corporate.

Our Cellar can accommodate from 8 to 12 guests. Guests will enjoy a menu using the freshest seasonal produce to create a memorable dining experience. We have an extensive wine list which showcases wines from France and New Zealand. Pairing wines to complement your menu can be selected by our Sommelier on request.
